How it works

Pay as normal and your rewards catch up

Nebula works with the card you already use. Link your bank once. When you pay at a shop on the network, we add your rewards automatically.

  1. Tap at the till

Pay with your usual card: £4.80 at Joe’s Coffee.

  2. Seen in your bank

Matched through read-only Open Banking. No money moves.

  3. Phone lights up

You get a heads-up once your card payment is matched.

  4. Balance ticks up

Points land on your Joe’s Coffee scheme.

One system, dialled to you

Invisible

Pay as normal with your usual card. Points land in the background, with nothing to open or remember.

Control if you want it. Invisible if you don’t.

Rewards that handle themselves

  1. Use your own card wherever you shop.
  2. We recognise network shops from your card payment.
  3. Points go to the right scheme automatically.
  4. Not a member yet? Claim them in one tap, as your details are already on Nebula.
  5. Rewards you’ve earned are ready for your next visit.
TBCWhich shops or EPOS systems will support till-side discounts at launch, if any.

Set your rules once, then forget them

  • Decide in advance how and when your rewards get used.
  • Example: when a stamp card fills, your free main is saved for your next visit. We’ll remind you before you go.
  • Set it once and it works across the whole network.
  • There’s nothing to decide at the till, so the queue keeps moving.
TBCHow auto-redeem works without a till integration, for example a pass you show at the till or the shop confirming in its dashboard.

In control, whenever you want to be

  • Get a heads-up when a reward is ready or about to expire. Nothing happens without you knowing.
  • Freeze a reward in your vault and use it when it suits you.
  • Spend a reward early instead of waiting for auto-use.
  • Keep one-off promos, coupons and barcodes in a searchable folder, ready at checkout.

Every kind of scheme, one account

Different shops run different schemes. Nebula keeps them all in one place.

  • Stamps

Visits count towards a goal, then a reward unlocks.

  • Points

Spend turns into points at a set rate, which you can swap for discounts or cashback.

  • Cashback

Money back once you hit a points or stamp goal.

  • Percentage discount

Money off your next purchase once you qualify.

TBCWhich scheme types ship at launch. One option is to offer them all and let each business choose.TBCHow cashback is paid out. This needs payment rails, not read-only AIS.
